Minneapolis is located between Salina and Concordia, and had both a Union Pacific branch line and a Santa Fe branch line.
Today, the Santa Fe is gone, while the UP has become a Kyle line to Beloit. The name Minneapolis was given to the town in 1871, named after Minneapolis, Minnesota.
